Our new approach
The Mental Health Commission is working towards a Western Australia community where people who experience a mental health problem are supported to live successfully in the community. If specialist service intervention becomes necessary, it is responsive, respectful and of a high quality. This can’t be done alone. We believe it takes everyone to work together for the good mental health and wellbeing of all people.
We are overseeing reform that will result in better lives for people with mental health problems by focusing on:
