We are committed to improving the treatment and support of people with a mental illness and their families and friends.

We are doing this by: 

• introducing new mental health legislation
• increasing consumer and carer involvement
• implementing quality assurance and national standards
• improving care and support for people with complex needs 
• helping to break down stigma
• implementing a WA Suicide Prevention Strategy.
