Mental Health Network

The Mental Health Network was launched on Monday 6 October by the Hon. Helen Morton, Minister for Mental Health; Disability Services and Child Protection.

The Network, a partnership between WA Health and the Mental Health Commission, is a forum for people with a lived experience, their family members and carers as well as clinicians and other stakeholders to participate in decisions about mental health planning and development.

The Mental Health Network provides an opportunity to improve Western Australia’s mental health system in a connected way.  It is an opportunity to build on the reform agenda already being progressed in Western Australia, which includes the establishment of the Mental Health Commission, the Mental Health Act 2014 and the creation of a ten year Mental Health, Alcohol and Other Drug Service plan.

The mental health network is Western Australia's 18th health network.

Join the network to get involved.  For further information visit the networks homepage.
