‘The Growing Brain’ Drug Aware public education campaign has launched across the state to protect young people’s developing brains. Developed by the Mental Health Commission and Cancer Council WA, the campaign aims to prevent, delay and reduce cannabis use among 14-24 year olds.

New President appointed to Mental Health Tribunal

Dr Andrew Lu AM has been appointed as President of the Mental Health Tribunal of Western Australia for a five-year term. Dr Lu will lead the Tribunal in its role to safeguard the rights of people who are subject to involuntary treatment orders under the Mental Health Act 2014 (WA).
